With a huge program across South Australia, there are so many great ways we can all get involved. So join in the fun 25 September – 4 October.
Local EVENTS in the Port Adelaide area
There has been a flurry of activity as local groups, individuals and organisations have prepared new events and activities to share their love of our local environment with YOU this Nature Festival.
This list has been compiled by volunteers from the Port Environment Centre to showcase the fantastic local events. Use the links below to find out more about each activity and reserve your place. Please let us know of any other Nature Festival events in our region.
This is an opportunity to see local Environment Groups in action and visit businesses and community groups operating in a sustainable way, as well as experiencing the region.
We encourage you to get involved, explore, enjoy and celebrate all things NATURE.
Port Environment Centre has 3 events planned over the next few weeks:
- Discover the World of Molluscs with Peter Hunt (in person at PEC and online)
- Nature Bingo Live (family fun at Taperoo Dunes this school holidays),
- Coastal Dune Walk (with volunteers from Semaphore Largs and Taperoo Dunes Groups sharing their knowledge)
You can view the full Nature Festival Program at www.naturefestival.org.au
don’t forget to check back here for any last minute additions & make sure you book (as numbers for some things are limited)
