The Port Environment Centre has two meeting spaces that can be booked free of charge for community meetings and workshops with an environmental focus.
The front room of the centre can accommodate 12 people (or 14 if seated lecture style). This space can be booked by groups anytime outside of our usual opening hours (Wed, Thurs, Fri 10am – 3pm).
The back meeting room can fit up to 10 people, and is available for bookings during the day, on weekends and in the evenings.
We have wifi, a projector/screen and whiteboard available, plus lots of tables and chairs that can be arranged to suit.
There is also a small kitchenette. Please BYO tea, coffee and supplies.
Please note there are no disabled toilets on site.
We ask that venue users maintain covid safe practices, and for attendees to stay home if unwell. Masks are not compulsary however we encourage you to make participants feel welcome to wear masks if they choose to.
Port Environment Centre requires all hirers to hold Public Liability Insurance. Please contact the Coordinator if your group does not hold public liability insurance as we may be able to extend public liability insurance cover to you for the duration of your meeting.
