To celebrate National Biodiversity Month, we’ll be exploring Australia’s less famous, but equally fabulous ‘Great Reef’!

The Great Southern Reef spans the entire bottom half of Australia, and 70% of our national population lives within 50kms of it. Yet, it’s largely unknown.

Film maker, marine scientist and educator, Stefan Andrews, has been working with a team to promote the recognition, stewardship and long-term health of these important ecosystems.

By showcasing the unique biodiversity, thriving reefs and personal stories of human connection to these reefs, Stefan and The Great Southern Reef Foundation are building a much-needed community around celebrating just how valuable, yet underappreciated, these ecosystems are.

In this visually captivating presentation, Stefan will take a deep dive into the biodiversity, threats and vision for the future of the Great Southern Reef.
