Join us on Wednesday, 11 February at the Port Environment Centre for a hands-on evening of nature-based creativity, community conversation and practical outdoor learning.
Here’s what’s happening:
4:00 – 5:00 pm | Forest bathing wind chimes
Create a soundscape wind chime from recycled materials to take on your next adventure. Facilitated by Kristen Messenger from Bugs n Slugs.
5:00 – 6:00pm | Eco-Discussion
Relaxed community discussion exploring this month’s theme of finding balance between screen time and green time.
Nature in the Digital Age: Why the Natural World Matters More Than Ever ;
Gen Z is swapping screen time for green time
6:00 – 7:30pm | Adventuring with Care
Plan your outdoor travels with confidence as Elise from Eliven Outdoor Adventures guides you through the 7 Principles of Leave No Trace. Everyone can get hands-on with learning basic survival skills and take home a personalised, practical tool for future outings.
