This session will help participants better understand the vital role of native bees and how their garden can become a safe, buzzing haven for these important pollinators.

• How to design bee-friendly gardens using local native plants
• Nesting needs and habits of solitary native bees
• Key plants that provide nectar throughout the year
• Common native bee species you’re likely to spot in your area
• Simple garden features to support bees (e.g. bare soil, bee hotels, water sources)
