Join us at The Peoples Market, Port Adelaide for this very special workshop. Buandig/Boandik woman Auntie Leanne will guide us in traditional weaving techniques using Cyperus gymnocaulos, a beautiful native sedge. As you weave, Auntie Leanne will share her cultural knowledge, passed down through generations, connecting you to the traditions of her community. Leanne has participated in a workshop led by Ngarrindjeri Master Weaver, Aunty Ellen Trevorrow, and has continued to weave and hone her knowledge.
