Enjoy a rewarding morning along our beautiful coastline with CVA, the Port Environment Centre and Taperoo Dunes Group to celebrate Clean Up Australia Day!
The Taperoo Dunes are an important habitat to many birds, animals, insects and native plants. Cleaning up litter from this area will have a lasting impact on the health of the ecosystem. We will be cleaning up in the dunes using gloves and litter pickers. The area is undulating, with some slopes and dense vegetation. Morning tea will be provided to enjoy after your hard work.
Meeting point is Taperoo Beach Carpark. Accessible by public transport (15min walk from Draper station on Outer Harbour line).
